This strawberry syrup is so easy to make (and you only need 3 ingredients!). Use it for drinks (strawberry milk, margaritas and lemonade), pancakes, ice cream and cheesecake.

Strawberry Syrup Ingredients

  • Strawberries: I would highly recommend using fresh strawberries (and field or garden picked are even better, as they have so much more sugar content and tartness than store-bought strawberries).
  • Sugar: White sugar is my favorite sweetener to use, as it just tastes the best in strawberry syrup and doesn’t overpower the fresh strawberry taste you want. Honey can be used though if you would rather use it (just substitute .5 to .75 cups of honey as a replacement).
  • Water: Just regular tap water will work great if you have tasty tap water. Distilled can work as well if you have well water that has a metallic taste.
