Oh So Good Watermelon Burgers (Vegetarian Burger Recipe)

For serving: 


  1. Cut the watermelon into 1/2 to 1-inch wide rounds. 
  2. Take 4 rounds and remove the rind and seeds from each. 
  3. Cut the watermelon slices into squares. 
  4. In a small bowl combine the olive oil and onion powder. 
  5. Brush the watermelon squares with oil mixture. 
  6. Season to taste with salt and black pepper. 
  7. Preheat grill to medium heat. 
  8. Grill the watermelon burgers for 4 minutes per side. 
  9. Top with cheese and cook just until the cheese melts, about a minute.
  10. Serve on buns with onion slices and lettuce.
