How to Make Waldorf Chicken Salad
- Make the Dressing. In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.


- Mix the Salad. Add cooked chicken, chopped apples, celery, walnuts, and grapes. Stir until everything is well coated.


- Chill and Serve. Refrigerate for 30 minutes, then serve cold on lettuce, in croissants, or as a main dish. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Waldorf Chicken Salad

Ingredients
- ⅔ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 cups diced cooked chicken
- 2 red apples, cored and diced
- ⅔ cup sliced celery
- ½ cup chopped walnuts
- ½ cup sliced seedless grapes
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise and lemon juice.
- Add salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste, and stir well to combine.
- Add the chicken, apples, celery, walnuts, and grapes to the bowl with the dressing.
- Mix everything together until evenly coated.
- Taste the salad and add more salt and pepper if needed, then stir again gently.
- Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to let the flavors blend and the salad chill.
- Serve cold—on a bed of lettuce, in croissants, or as a light main dish.
- Storing:
