How to Make Strawberry Basil Margarita 

  1. Combine the ingredients. Blend until smooth.

  2. Muddle the basil leaves. Add the strawberry mixture and shake.
  3. Salt the rim of a glass and fill it with ice. Pour the mixture into the glass.
  4. Serve immediately.

Make Ahead and Storing Instructions: 

  • To Make Ahead: Prepare the strawberry mixture and store it in the refrigerator up to a few hours before serving. Shake well before serving over ice.
  • To Store: Leftover margaritas can be stored in an airtight bottle in the refrigerator for one more day.

Ingredients 

  • ½ pint fresh strawberries
  • ½ cup tequila blanco
  • 1 ½ oz. Cointreau liqueur or Triple Sec
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2-3 basil sprigs
  • ice

Instructions 

  • Add the strawberries, tequila, Cointreau, lime juice and honey to a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Add the basil to a shaker.
  • Use a muddler to crush the basil leaves.
  • Add the strawberry mixture and shake to combine.
  • Fill a salted rimmed glasses with ice.
  • Pour the mixture into the glasses and serve.
