Homemade Spinach Lasagna (Easy and So, So Good!)

For the lasagna:


For the sauce: 


For the toping:


  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
  2. To make the filling, add the cream cheese, ricotta, spinach, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan and Italian seasoning to a bowl and mix to combine. 
  3. Season to taste with salt and black pepper.
  4. Set aside. 
  5. Add the butter to a large skillet. 
  6. Add the flour and stir to combine. 
  7. Add the stock and heavy cream and whisk to combine. 
  8. Remove from the heat. 
  9. Lightly grease 9×13 inch baking dish. 
  10. Spread 1/5 of white sauce onto bottom of the prepared pan.
  11. Arrange 3 lasagna sheets over the sauce. 
  12. Spread 1/3 spinach mixture over the sheets. 
  13. Top with1/5 of white sauce.
  14. Again, arrange 3 lasagne noodles over the sauce.
  15. Top the noodles with 1/3 of spinach mixture.
  16. Top with1/5 of white sauce.
  17. Repeat until you have three layers and have used up all the ingredients.
  18. Spread the remaining white sauce over the top layer of noodles and sprinkle with the Gruyere and Parmesan. 
  19. Cover with foil and bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes. 
  20. Uncover and bake 10 minutes longer or until bubbly. 
  21. Remove from the oven. 
  22. Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
