Instructions

  1. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. 
  2. Add the almonds and cook, stirring occasionally,  until golden brown. 
  3. Transfer the almonds on a plate and set side. 
  4. Melt the remaining butter in the same skillet over medium heat. 
  5. Add the shallots and cook for 3-4 minutes. 
  6. Add the green beans and 2 tablespoons of water and cook, stirring occasionally, for 4-5 minutes or until tender. 
  7. Remove from the heat.  
  8. Add the lemon juice, parsley and almonds and toss to combine. 
  9. Season to taste with salt and black pepper and serve.
