Magical Raspberry Chipotle Sauce for Meat, Sandwiches, Spreads and Dipping
Today I’m going to be sharing a recipe for making the most magical raspberry chipotle sauce that you can use for meat, sandwiches, spreads, and dipping. This chipotle sauce is absolutely bursting with a perfectly smoky flavor thanks to some fantastic ingredient choices.
How to Make Raspberry Chipotle Sauce
Here’s everything that you’ll need to know in order to make this homemade raspberry chipotle sauce:
- Preheat the oven. Preheat your oven to 450℉.
- Prepare the raspberries. Arrange the fresh raspberries on a baking sheet and sprinkle them with sugar.
- Bake. Bake the raspberries in the preheated oven for 15 minutes and then remove from the oven and set aside.
- Prepare the olive oil. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Cook the shallot. Add the diced shallot and cook for 5 minutes.
- Cook the garlic. Add the minced garlic cloves and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add the remaining ingredients. Add the white wine, brown sugar, honey, lemon juice, chipotle chiles in adobo sauce (2 tablespoons), liquid smoke, and salt to taste. Stir to combine.
- Boil. Bring the mixture to a boil and then reduce the heat to low.
- Simmer. Allow the mixture to simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add the raspberries. Add the baked raspberries and simmer, stirring frequently, for 7 to 8 minutes and then remove from the heat.
- Blend. Use an immersion blender to blend the mixture until smooth.
- (Optional) Add salt. Add more salt if needed.
- Serve. Either use immediately or store until ready to use.

How to Store This Raspberry Chipotle Sauce
