How to Make Pineapple Jalapeno Margaritas
This is how easy it is to prepare this Pineapple Jalapeno Margarita from scratch:
- Muddle & Mix: In a shaker, muddle jalapeno slices with lime juice, then add pineapple juice and mix.

- Add Liquids & Ice: Add tequila, Cointreau, and 1 cup of ice. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds.
- Serve: Fill salted-rimmed glasses with ice, strain the mixture into the glasses, and serve.
Why Is My Pineapple Jalapeno Margarita Foamy?
It’s normal for your Pineapple Jalapeno Margarita to be slightly foamy after shaking. This foam is just bubbles forming as a result of the drinks mixing together.
If you would like for there to be less foam, simply skim off the top with a spoon. Or, you could also wait for a few minutes for the foam to dissipate on its own.

Can I Make Margaritas Without Tequila?
Margaritas are traditionally made with tequila. However, if you are looking for a non-alcoholic version or simply do not have tequila on hand, one option is to substitute the tequila with a non-alcoholic spirit.
Another alternative is to use a different alcohol such as vodka, white rum, or even gin to create a variation of the classic margarita. Alternatively, you can simply omit the alcohol altogether and make a mocktail version with lime juice, agave nectar, and soda water for a refreshing and tasty drink.
