For the pickled green tomatoes:
- 1 cup cider vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp ground turmeric
- 1 pound green tomatoes, cut into wedges
- 2 jalapeno, sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, peeled
- 1 tsp mustard seed
- 2 tsp black peppercorn
The rest of ingredients:
- 12 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
- fresh basil leaves
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- store-bought balsamic glaze (optional)
- salt and black pepper to taste
