How to Make Homemade Peanut Butter Puffs

  1. Make the sauce. Boil brown sugar, peanut butter, butter, and corn syrup in a saucepan for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Ingredients 

  • 5 oz corn puffs
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ¼ cup peanut butter
  • ¼ cup light corn syrup
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • pinch of salt

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 250ºF.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  • Add the brown sugar, peanut butter, butter, and corn syrup to a saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  • Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  • Add the corn puffs and peanut butter mixture to a bowl and stir to coat.
  • Spread the corn puffs onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before serving.
