- Make the filling. Cream butter, granulated sugar, and peanut butter, then add salt and powdered sugar to form a dough.

- Sandwich. Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and place between two pretzels. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

- Coat the pretzels. Melt chocolate in the microwave, then dip each pretzel sandwich in chocolate. Refrigerate for 30 minutes until set.

To Store: Homemade peanut butter pretzel bites can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week. To keep them from getting soggy, put them in a paper towel-lined container to absorb any moisture.
To Freeze: You can also freeze them for up to three months. Just sandwich, refrigerate, and dump them into a freezer-safe zip lock bag. Freeze until you’re ready for a treat.

Peanut Butter Pretzel Bites

Ingredients
- ½ cup natural creamy peanut butter
- 3 tbsp butter, softened
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- pinch of salt
- 72 mini twist pretzels
- ¾ cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a bowl, beat the butter, peanut butter and granulated sugar until creamy.
- Add the powdered sugar and salt and mix to combine.
- Line a large chopping board or baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Shape mixture into 1 inch balls.
- Place each ball between 2 pretzels and gently press together.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Add the chocolate to a microwave -safe bowl.
- Microwave on high in 30-second increments until smooth, stirring in between every 30 seconds. Set aside.
- Dip each pretzel sandwich into the melted chocolate to cover half.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until the chocolate is set.
