Every time I have some extra peanut butter and a little time, I make these super easy homemade peanut butter chips. Great in cookies, on top of ice cream or just to snack on on their own.

- Mix. Melt the cacao butter in a saucepan over low heat. Turn off the heat and stir in peanut butter and maple syrup.




- Chill. Line an 8×8 inch baking pan and pour the mixture into it. Refrigerate until solid.
- Create the chips. Cut into small cubes and use immediately, or refrigerate until ready to use.
Make-Ahead and Freezing Instructions
To Make Ahead: Peanut butter chips will hold their flavor for two to three weeks if stored in a resealable container and kept cold in the refrigerator.
To Freeze: You can also freeze them to keep them fresh for three to six months. Scoop the chips into a freezer bag, remove as much air as possible, and store.

- 2/3 cup peanut butter
- ½ cup cacao putter
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
Instructions
- Add the cacao butter to a small saucepan.
- Melt over low heat.
- Remove from the heat.
- Add the peanut butter and maple syrup and stir to combine.
- Line an 8×8 inch baking pan.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan.
- Refrigerate until solid.
- Cut into small cubes.
- Use immediately or refrigerate until ready to use.
