Make-Ahead and Freezing Instructions

To Make-Ahead: Homemade peanut butter will keep in the refrigerator for up to three months as long as you keep the lid closed. If you notice any rancid smell or mold growing on your peanut butter, it’s time for a new batch.

To Freeze: You can also freeze roasted peanut butter for up to six months. Scoop the peanut butter into an ice tray and freeze. Once frozen, move the cubes to a freezer bag. This makes defrosting a small amount easy.
