How to Make Homemade Hibiscus Hair Oil
I’m a firm believer in not using any type of products on my skin or hair that contains chemicals of any kind. I don’t care how good the marketing for the latest product is, I’ll stick to my all-natural DIY skin and hair care products, thank you very much. I learned to make my own homemade hibiscus hair oil and it’s even better than commercial products, honestly.
If you think that making your own hair oil might be a bit of a complicated task, then don’t worry, it’s incredibly easy to make. As a matter of fact, you only need two simple ingredients — one cup each of melted coconut oil and dried hibiscus flowers. Just heat up the coconut oil a bit over a medium heat and then add in the hibiscus flowers before leaving both ingredients to cook for 5-8 minutes.
Afterwards, just be sure to allow the oil to cool completely before straining it out into a jar or bottle.
