How to Make Grilled Asparagus

  1. Prep the Asparagus. Drizzle with lemon juice, olive oil, and minced garlic. Toss to coat, then season with salt and pepper.

  2. Grill. Cook on a preheated grill or grill pan for 5–7 minutes, until tender and slightly charred.

  3. Store or Serve. Enjoy fresh, or store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in a skillet or eat cold in salads.

Make-Ahead, Storage and Freezing Instructions

To Make-Ahead: Prep and season the asparagus with lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Store in the fridge until ready to grill (up to 4 hours).

To Store: Keep grilled asparagus in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

To Freeze: Freezing grilled asparagus is not recommended as it can become mushy when thawed. Instead, grill fresh or store raw, seasoned asparagus in the fridge before cooking.
