How to Make French Toast
- Make the French Toast Batter. Whisk the eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon in a shallow bowl.


- Dip the Bread. Heat the butter or oil in a skillet. Dip your bread slices into the mixture, coating both sides without soaking too long.


- Cook. Cook bread in skillet 2-3 minutes per side until golden. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.

Storage, Reheating and Freezing Instructions
To Store: Let the French toast cool completely. Place in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
To Reheat: Reheat in a toaster, oven, or skillet until warm and slightly crisp.

To Freeze: Arrange cooled slices in a single layer on a baking sheet and freeze until solid. Transfer to a freezer-safe bag or container, separating layers with parchment paper. Freeze for up to 2 months.

Easy French Toast

Ingredients
- 8 thick bread slices, such as brioche or challah
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- oil or butter for cooking
Instructions
- In a shallow bowl or dish, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.
- Heat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat and add a little oil or butter.
- Dip each bread slice into the egg mixture, coating both sides evenly but not soaking too long.
- Place the coated bread slices onto the hot skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Repeat with the remaining slices, adding more oil or butter as needed.
