Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • Made with Pickled Eggs: This makes all the difference! Why just use dill pickles and pickle juice, when you can also make them using pickled eggs. No other dill pickle deviled eggs taste as good as these (and that’s why!).
  • The perfect appetizer for any event: A delicious cookout food, for a family brunch, birthday party or general get-together.
  • Everyone will ask for the recipe: Be ‘that person’! Seriously, whenever I make these, almost everyone who tries them wants the recipe.
Pickle Deviled Eggs using Pickle Juice

You can really use any pickled eggs for this recipe, but my favorite ones to use are either this old-fashioned dill version or these ones (made with beet juice).

Pickle Deviled Egg Ingredients

You of course need the standard things like mayonnaise, salt. and pepper. If you want the best version possible though, here are my recommendations for what to use when you make dill pickle deviled eggs.

  • Dill Pickles: Your favorite dill pickles will do!
  • Pickle Juice: Use either the brine from your pickles or pickled eggs (whichever you like the flavor of most).
  • Pickled Eggs: Yep, this is a big one. You can of course just make these with plain hard-boiled eggs if you want, but trust me, there is NOTHING like a pickle deviled egg when made with dill pickles, pickle juice and pickled eggs.
  • Mustard: Dijon is my favorite, but yellow mustard can work in a pinch.
  • Spices: Black pepper, garlic powder and paprika (for topping).
  • Bacon (optional): This one is completely optional! Some people love bacon crumbs on top of their deviled eggs, some people don’t. You can customize this recipe to your tastes, and either way tastes incredible.
