What Type of Gelatin is Best for Blackberry Gummies?

While there are certainly many options out there, the quality and consistency of your gummies can largely depend on the type of gelatin you’re using. For this recipe, unflavored, powdered gelatin made from animal collagen is recommended.

This type of gelatin is easy to find at most grocery stores and can provide a great texture and flavor for your blackberry gummies.

For a more intense flavor, you can use fruit juice or fruit concentrate instead of water when dissolving the gelatin.
For sweeter gummies, you can add more sugar to the mixture.

If you find that your gummies are too soft, you can place them back in the refrigerator for a few more minutes to allow them to set further.
