Make Ahead and Freezing Instructions
To Make Ahead: Applesauce brownies can be made the day before and stored in the refrigerator. For the ultimate freshness and flavor, eat them within two days. The batter can be made up to three months in advance if you freeze it.
To Freeze: Brownies can also be frozen for longer storage. Just wrap each brownie in plastic wrap, put it in a freezer-safe container, and freeze. Make sure to eat them within two months for the best chocolate flavor and to prevent freezer burn from ruining them.
